Now that Mayweather has retired and walked away from the rematch - who will Oscar fight in what has been declared as his final fight? Hatton has already said no and Mora has contractual obligations leading to two of the biggest names ruling themselves out. The obvious fight would be against M-Pac as long as he comes through the David Diaz fight with a W. That would be some fight and one that I'd be interested in watching all day long. I have no idea what weight the fight would take place at but it would be another big $ bout where Oscar would fight one of the best - the only problem is he's yet to beat one of the best. Could sixth time be a charm? |

I have never understood just how Oscar has done so well. He lost to Felix Trinidad, then to Sugar Shane Mosley, then in the rematch, then he went down to Bernard Hopkins before dropping that SD to Pretty Boy. Even if he comes through in that last big fight then I don't think he should go down as a great fighter. His best W was over Gatti but those five defeats are all pretty big ones to overcome. I think the Hatton fight was clearly the best on paper but maybe Hatton didn't fancy it and doesn't believe in himself anyone after being battered by Pretty Boy last December. |

Looks like the winner of Diaz/Manny could get this fight. If it is Manny then that would be a right scrap! |
